Beautiful & Convenient Studio Downtown Devon
Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place. Recently renovated and tastefully decorated Studio Apartment in the town of Devon, home of the Devon Horse Show, just on the outskirts of Philly on the Main Line. Sleeps up to 2 ( 1 Transitional Sofa Bed, Queen size). Great location with a Starbucks, Wholefoods and CVS Pharmacy within walking distance. Not far from the Devon train station. And there is a spa on the premises!
Even though there are parking spaces at the front of the building, we encourage our guests to park behind the building in the parking lot off of E. Conestoga Road. You will see the sign for “Head To Toe Healthy Spa”, which is on the first floor of the 2 story building. The Studio is in the separate, single standing building in the parking lot.
The complete Studio apartment is spacious and comfortable for our guests to enjoy in private. This space is not shared with anyone else. However, the room at the very back of the building is used by the Main Building’s SPA owner as a skin toning room for her clients and is separated by a sliding “barn style” door that can be locked by our guests. It is only used sporadically during the day by the Spa. The convenience of this room is that it provides a back entrance / exit door for our guests that can be accessed for loading such things as groceries from your car. If requested, guests can be notified by the Spa Owner when the back room is schedule to be used.
We are available to answer any questions at all times. We will check in with you to see how your are doing, but we respect your privacy so won’t be intrusive. Your comfort and enjoyment are our highest priorities.
Devon is home to the popular Devon Horse grounds that have spectacular events in the late spring and fall. Don’t forget to check out Nudy’s Cafe for breakfast and brunch, which is just a short walk out the back door and up the street to the left. Or, if you keep on walking you’ll reach Whole Foods Market for fantastic culinary delights to take back to the apartment. And, if you have an Amazon Prime account, you can get a discount. If you walk past this market you’ll come upon a Starbucks for a variety of drinks and tasty foods. Don’t forget, across the street from the front of the apartment building is a huge shopping center with a Target and a large Grocery Store also available by foot. Get in the car to get to the huge King of Prussia Mall or visit historic Valley Forge. Take the train to Philadelphia for a day of sightseeing and fun.
The building was just renovated so all of the drywall, paint and flooring are new, as well as the furniture, shelves, and cabinets, bathroom walls finishes and plumbing fixtures. The room has new ceiling fan. The 43” TV has ROKU in Guest Mode for you to enjoy free shows as well as log in to your Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime accounts with many, many other choices.

SLEEPING:
There is a convertible couch queen bed for you to sleep on. The instructions on how to set it up are in the desk drawer. The pillows, bedding sheets and comforter are stored within the couch which you’ll see when you open it up to convert it. Please make sure to use the bed cover and sheets while using it as a bed.
TRASH:
There are trash (black) and recycling (blue) cans for you to empty your trash and recycling. As you face the steps to the main building, they are to the left. The building manager puts them at the curb on trash and recycling collections days.
LAUNDRY:
The shared washer and dryer are in the main building and can be accessed via the door on the right as you face the building. You were given 2 keys. One of them is for this door. Please lock it as you leave. To access the washer and dryer, after you enter, go down the steps to the right all the way to the basement. Turn the light on and you will see 2 washers and 2 dryers. Use the Washer and Dryer that states “THIS WASHER (DRYER) IS FOR GUEST OF STAR PROPERTY SOLUTIONS ONLY”. The other washer and dryer is for the Spa that is on the first floor.
HEATING and COOLING:
The heat and cooling is controlled by the unit in the back of the apartment. You will notice that there is a wooden “barn type” door that separates the front from the back. The Spa Owner uses this back room sometimes for a skin tone treatment for her clients. This room is not part of your studio apartment. When you are not in the apartment, please make sure the wooden “barn type” door is pulled shut and locked to protect your things. However, when you are there, you can leave it open, so the heating and cooling unit provides a comfortable climate during your stay. The back room is rarely used by the spa, but when it is it will cause no disruption to your stay. If requested, guests can be notified by the Spa Owner when the back room is schedule to be used.
TV:
This property has a ROKU powered TV set. Instructions on how to login and use it for free TV or streaming services (think Netflix and Hulu) can be found on the desk. We have it set for “Guest Mode”, so choose your checkout date and ROKU will automatically log you out of all of the services you logged into once you check out.
Cooking and Coffee:
There is a Keurig coffee maker with a starter supply of Keurig coffee and tea pods. There are instructions on how to use it in the desk drawer if you have never used one before. Also, there is a ¾” white board next to the sink. Place it on top of the sink for your food preparation if you are cooking. Also, the 2-burner portable stove will fit there too for cooking. I have attached a white plug for it to be plugged into.
PARKING:
You can park anywhere in the parking lot outside. Please make sure it is in one of the “lined” parking spots.
DEPARTURE:
Please vacate the apartment on your departure day by 11:00 AM. Arrangements can be made for a late checkout for $30. The charge is for an extra cleaner due to the condensed time frame.
